Backup and Restore

ARCserve/Open provides high-performance network data management services for
SCO UNIX servers.  Leading versions of UNIX are supported as clients.
ARCserve/Open offers flexibility in selecting files for backup, and the backup
operation frequency.  It has the ability to backup and restore hidden and
system files, and include and/or exclude particular files and directories.
Several methods of backup and restore are available:  all files, incremental
based on the file access date, or incremental based on the date/time stamp.
Scheduled jobs, residing in a queue, may be modified using ARCserve/Open's
powerful queue management features.  ARCserve/Open's data verification
capabilities can supply confirmation of successful, complete backup jobs.
With the Quick File Access feature, users can search for specific files and
directories.  When restoring, ARCserv/Open quickly spans to the location of
the selected file.  The automation provided by ARCserve/Open gives users a
fast, easy, and reliable method of managing data.
